As many of you may know, former Illini defensive tackle Chris Norwell was diagnosed with Burkitt’s non-Hodgkin lymphoma back in October. His girlfriend, Quincey, set up a Care Pages blog with updates on his condition/doctor’s visits. 

The latest entry, from last night, is very encouraging. I’ll let her tell you:

Chris had his 3 month PET scan on Wednesday, and the results came back today. Once again, there was no activity in the area! The nurse practitioner said that Chris was the perfect picture of health! He’s feeling great and looking great! His hair grew back much curlier than it was before. He’s getting used to it, but it is a much different look. I added a few more recent pictures.

That’s one of the pictures she added. And look at what shirt he just so happens to be wearing…
